Thinking of the shit day I had today,
To make things better, I know a good way,
Sit by the fires I've seen burn bright,
In the dark of the woods, at the black hour.
O' the temptress is the whole clear bottle,
Better hold yer' guns 'cuz it'll sweep you off yer' feet,
This fruitful German wine, though so bitter sweet,
Keeps us right of mind, though it a'int for the weak.
One last, breath before you drink it,
And you must chug it back so you better fucking (drink up)
Forever waiting, for the boys to chugger down,
And sit back, better take another look around you.
You are amongst the ones you trust the most,
So you'd better drink your share, keepin up with who (Drinks Most)
We live outside all earthly bounds,
To be free, and at peace, 'till ya look at us wrong.
Woken the beast,
Hidden in time
Trapped in a cave,
A troll resides,
What have we done,
It's on the run,
Last of its kind,
Though it must die.
Mounting our steads we begin to ride,
Stout as fuck, wearing bull hides,
We lit our fire in the woods that night,
But what became twas' a horrible sight.
A horrid monster as black as skies,
Crimson red where his burning eyes,
What had we done, and what is there to do,
We had no idea what we were about to persue.
(interlude)
We followed the beast through hill and dale,
Tracking the troll with the power of ale,
We zero'd our scopes on his position,
But the demon beast was persistant.
At that very moment we heard a great thunder,
Lost sight of the beast, now hes become the hunter,
Lost him in the trees, no trace in the wind,
Vow to never bow down, 'till the beast lay skinned.
One last, breath before you drink it,
And you must chug it back so you better fucking (drink up)
Forever waiting, for the boys to chugger down,
And sit back, better take another look around you.
Work forward to the coming battle,
And prepare for the nights (black hour)
The troll shall kneel before the,
Feet of the black metal cowboys.
Woken the beast,
Hidden in time
Trapped in a cave,
A troll resides,
What have we done,
It's on the run,
Last of its kind,
Though it must die.

This album is, without a shadow of a doubt, my favourite album of all time. Lyrically magnificent, musically phenomenal, and the plot is one of the most well constructed things I've ever seen, being both coherent and deep. Don't miss up on the chance to listen to this beast, it is truly incredible. iamtherevenant
The EP is pretty much what happens when you put Wintersun and Ensiferum together, and that's what makes it awesome! Epic, folky, and melodic, you would think that this had come straight out of Finland! Even if it didn't, it's still an amazing release, as Dean Arnold's skills in songcraft prove themselves to be quite superb indeed. ZekeNigma
Supplementing sasscore insanity with bolstered vocals and pop-punk songcraft, the California band are kicking ass and breaking boundaries. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 21, 2024
