Sitting by the fire under the moon tonight,
The crack of the flame is burning bright.
Halfway done my journey, I've made it this far,
Another sleepless night in the cold dark.
A banshee howls at the moonlit night,
The high shrieked voice is far out of sight.
One more nights sleep 'til I've completed the hunt,
As the days go on my hatchet grows blunt.
I wake from my slumber to see the day light,
Saddle up my horse and ride across the plains.
I travel through foothills and snowy mountains
I pull out my flask to see that it's drained.
I come across a magical well in the snow,
Reminds me of a place where no man goes.
A sprite filled with ale, this cannot fail,
I fill up my pint and begin to sing:
Drink away, all the thoughts of the pain,
Drunk again never to be the same.
Lead astray, inhibitions decayed,
The tumblemead is rolling
And things are getting strange
Drink Away!
Drunk Again!
Lead Astray!
Tumblemead!
One more night by the lonely fire,
My patience now growing thin as a wire.
Roasting a squirrel over the open flame,
In the distance I hear someone call my name.
I turn my head and see a dirty wench,
She sits beside me on the wooden bench.
Her face was too dark for me to see,
But she turned her head and said to me:
Drink away, all the thoughts of the pain,
Drunk again never to be the same.
Lead astray, inhibitions decayed,
The tumblemead is rolling
And things are getting strange

This album is, without a shadow of a doubt, my favourite album of all time. Lyrically magnificent, musically phenomenal, and the plot is one of the most well constructed things I've ever seen, being both coherent and deep. Don't miss up on the chance to listen to this beast, it is truly incredible. iamtherevenant
The EP is pretty much what happens when you put Wintersun and Ensiferum together, and that's what makes it awesome! Epic, folky, and melodic, you would think that this had come straight out of Finland! Even if it didn't, it's still an amazing release, as Dean Arnold's skills in songcraft prove themselves to be quite superb indeed. ZekeNigma
