The sun pierces my eyes,
As I see the first light.
A cow horn bellows loud,
Far out of sight.
A great sound of warning,
Danger lurks near.
From far over the sunset,
The ride their steers.
II. Hearts Full of Battle
They charge at our barn,
And kill all the cattle.
With fury in their eyes,
And hearts full of battle.
They came when we were meek,
Some of us still asleep.
Raging through the corn fields,
Our homeland they breached.
Lasso's in the sky they stormed our farm.
III. One by One
We returned attack with a swipe of a scythe,
Something we hoped would end their life.
Far from home they have come,
For reasons known by none.
We fought back in fear,
But there was no hope.
I picked up a sickle,
And tried to fight back.
I slayed a handful of men,
There were too many of them.
One by one they killed,
My family and friends.
Half an hour passed,
The calsuaties were vast.
I fought for my friends,
When will this end?
IV. Call of the Hen
We fought 'til death, we would not give up.
We grabbed them by their hair and tied them up.
To the sheriff they were bound, as they heard the sound.
The call of the morning hen.
V. Farmageddon
They were sentenced to death, never to see light again was their fate.
To the gallows they are sent, filled with anger and a darkened feeling of hate.
As the lever is pulled and the nooses lock, their faces start to redden.
The sun is raised high and I close my eyes,
This is farmageddon.

This album is, without a shadow of a doubt, my favourite album of all time. Lyrically magnificent, musically phenomenal, and the plot is one of the most well constructed things I've ever seen, being both coherent and deep. Don't miss up on the chance to listen to this beast, it is truly incredible. iamtherevenant
The EP is pretty much what happens when you put Wintersun and Ensiferum together, and that's what makes it awesome! Epic, folky, and melodic, you would think that this had come straight out of Finland! Even if it didn't, it's still an amazing release, as Dean Arnold's skills in songcraft prove themselves to be quite superb indeed. ZekeNigma
Supplementing sasscore insanity with bolstered vocals and pop-punk songcraft, the California band are kicking ass and breaking boundaries. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 21, 2024
